Draganac Monastery, dedicated to the Holy Archangels Michael and Gabriel, is an Eastern Orthodox monastery located in the rolling hills of eastern Kosovo, near the ancient fortress of Novo Brdo under the omophorion of His Grace Bishop Teodosije of Raška-Prizren . At one time, monasteries abounded in this region, and monks and nuns filled the forested knolls and valleys with prayers to the Living God, striving to bring down divine grace and blessing upon the whole world. As the centuries have gone by, however, and especially following the most recent conflict in 1999, Draganac Monastery is the sole living link in this ancient tradition of prayer and service.
